About

One search box for country codes. Type a country name, an ISO 3166 code (SG, SGP or 702), a phone code (+65) or a domain (.sg) and see the country with all its codes, each one a click to copy. Paste a whole phone number and it picks the country from the start of the number. With nothing typed you get the full list of 250.

What are alpha-2, alpha-3 and numeric codes?
Three ISO 3166-1 codes for the same country: two letters (SG), three letters (SGP) and three digits (702). Alpha-2 is the one used in most software, and the numeric code stays the same if a country's name or letters change.
Why does searching UK show the United Kingdom under GB?
The ISO code for the United Kingdom is GB, but its domain is .uk and people type UK, so a search for UK finds it. The row shows GB because that is the ISO code.
Why do several countries share +1 or +44?
The US, Canada and many Caribbean places share +1, split by area code, so +1 684 is American Samoa. Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man share +44 with the UK. A search shows every place on a shared code and says so. A full number picks the longest matching code, so +1 684 555 0100 gives American Samoa.
Where do the flags come from?
They are flag emoji. Windows has no flag glyphs of its own, so the page loads a small flags-only font based on Twemoji (CC BY 4.0) from its own server. Other devices use their built-in flags.
Is Kosovo included?
Yes, marked "not ISO". Kosovo has no ISO 3166-1 code, so it has no numeric code or domain here. XK and XKX are the codes the EU, the IMF and others use, and its phone code is +383.
Where does the data come from?
The open datasets/country-codes project, which merges ISO 3166-1, ITU phone codes and IANA domains. It is a snapshot bundled with the page, so nothing is looked up when you search and nothing leaves your browser. Check the official ISO or ITU lists if you need an authoritative answer.
